Drone Video Production

This project captures the Milwaukee Art Museum’s Calatrava addition from the air, focusing on the fluid movement of the wings, the sculptural geometry of the structure, and its presence along the lakefront.

The footage was designed to reveal the building in ways that are rarely seen, emphasizing form, motion, and the sense of living architecture at work.

Behind the Project

The goal of this project was to achieve drone flyovers that are not typically possible due to proximity and flight path difficulty. We planned and executed precise, controlled flights that allowed us to move close to the structure, flying between cables and along the contours of the wings without compromising safety or respect for the site.

Filming took place at different times to capture the building with its wings fully open and fully closed, allowing the architecture to be seen as both sculpture and mechanism. The result is a collection of aerial footage that feels immediate, intimate, and true to the dynamic nature of the Calatrava.

Every project is driven by collective genius, the shared creativity that elevates what none of us could achieve alone.
